Dr Katie Rogers graduated from Medical School at the University of Adelaide before training as a Specialist Rural GP with advanced training in Anaesthesia.
She spent several years serving the community on the Yorke Peninsula before returning to Adelaide. This developed her interest in pain medicine, particularly regarding the role of interventional therapies within a multidisciplinary approach.
She completed her basic Pain Medicine training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and is currently completing studies towards Fellowship with the Faculty of Pain Medicine (ANZCA), specialising in the interventional therapies for management of chronic pain conditions.
