Research: Treating intractable leg pain with spinal cord stimulation

There continues to be research in regards to spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of chronic, intractable leg pain. PainMedSA is at the forefront of evidence-based practice and the application of this, and we are constantly in works with various research projects to ensure the best health care outcomes for you.

A recent multi-centre study that we were involved in showed there has been promising results using 10kHz spinal cord stimulation in the treatment of chronic leg pain. This poster (PDF, opens new tab) gives a breakdown of some of the findings.
