At PainMedSA, our aim is to offer our multidisciplinary services to those affected by chronic pain in the South Australian community.
We are delighted to announce that Specialist Rehabilitation Physician Dr Sheruni Wijesundara has joined the team here at PainMedSA!
Dr Wijesundara is a Fellow of The Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM). Sheruni completed medical school in Western Australia, completed her advance training in Rehabilitation medicine in South Australia working at all the major hospital services. She has expertise in assessment and management of patients who have ongoing physical impairment/disability and associated functional impairments.
Sheruni is keen to keep working with adult patients of all ages, who have conditions including neurological disorders, spinal cord injury, brain injury, musculoskeletal injury, persistent pain, amputation, chronic disease, deconditioning and orthopaedic trauma.
A referral from a General Practitioner or Specialist Medical Provider is required for an appointment with Dr Wijesundara. All Private patients, DVA, concession, pension and third-party compensable patients are able to book in to see our practitioners by our contact form and we will contact you as soon as possible.
