The latest guidelines from the Federal Government now allow us to deliver our specialist services via the Telehealth system for the next 6 months regardless of your location. This was previously restricted to rural and remote area patients, but is now available to all patients. This means you do not need to cancel your appointment if you are feeling sick.
If you are:
someone isolating themselves at home on the advice of a medical practitioner; or
aged over 70; or
have a chronic health condition and/or are immunocompromised; or
parents with new babies and people who are pregnant
Or if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
fever
flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue
shortness of breath
